This Privacy Policy statement describes how SavvyTel collects, uses and safeguards Personal Information obtained from its customers. Personal Information means information from which you can be identified or can be reasonably ascertained and may include your name, address, telephone number/s and also include detailed information on how you use the service (such as the date, time, location, type and duration of calls, messages, usage, etc).
SavvyTel is committed to protecting customer's Personal Information and acting ethically in its storage and use, and is bound by the National Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
1. Purpose, Use and Disclosure:
SavvyTel will collect only that Personal Information connected with its business operations, which include, but is not limited to:

carrying out a credit check (unless we have agreed otherwise)

sharing Personal Information with SavvyTel's service and content providers, dealers and agents, for purposes that are related to providing you with the service
carrying out any activity in connection with a legal, governmental or regulatory requirement on SavvyTel or in connection with legal proceedings, crime or fraud prevention, detection or prosecutio
We will not rent, sell or exchange Personal Information nor use Personal Information for purposes other than described above unless we have your consent or there are specified law enforcement or public health or safety reasons.
2. Quality of and Access to Personal Information:
SavvyTel will take all reasonable steps to ensure the Personal Information it collects and holds is accurate, up-to-date and stored in a secure manner or environment protected from unauthorized access. You are requested to inform SavvyTel on a timely basis if any of your Personal Information, such as address, has changed.
You may request particulars of the Personal Information we hold about you. Your request should be sent to customercare@savvytel.com.au.
3. Transfer of Data:
SavvyTel will take reasonable steps to ensure that if Personal Information is transferred outside Australia it will remain subject to the protection given by our Privacy Policy or other legal standards for the protection of Personal Information that are at least equivalent to the standards set out in this Policy Statement.
4. Complaints Resolution:
SavvyTel is committed to providing its customers with a high quality service, including dealing fairly and responsively to requests. You have a right to complain if you are dissatisfied with our service. Any complaint should firstly be lodged with our Customer Care Team, however, if you remain dissatisfied you may request that your complaint be referred SavvyTel's Manager.
SavvyTel will at all times endeavour to deal with and resolve a complaint in a timely manner. Should you be dissatisfied with SavvyTel's handling of your complain you may contact the Privacy
Commissioner.
